do everybody get this message when buying apple dev license?

Enrollment Update: Notarized ID Required

Dear xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx,
We are currently in the process of reviewing your iOS Developer Program enrollment information and have found that the billing information entered during your iOS Developer Program purchase does not match your enrollment information. Therefore, the activation of your Program has been placed on a temporary hold.
In order for us to verify your identity, please fax the following form along with a notarized copy of your government issued photo identification to us at +1 (408) 862-1519. When faxing this information, please include your Enrollment ID # xxxxxxxx
We cannot activate your program if the verification documentation you provide us is not notarized or solicitor certified.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact us.

    i feel bad for you :(

    the information that you put for the account infor has to be EXACTLY the same as the info on the credit card, or else that happens.

    Your gonna have to call them then fax a notarized copy of your id if thats legal in your state.

    No only if you entered different credit card numbers during enrollment.

    Just call the number

    That happened to me. Change your info to match your bank account stuff and call apple. thats what I did.

    I registered with my name but i used my mother's credit card, and i have allready sent them my identity card photocopy. My mother's name is in my identity card, so i think it should be okay, am i right?

    It cant just be a copy of your id. It has to be a copy thats notarized by a legal notary e.g. bank official, lawyer ect.

    It is a long time ago so I can not remember where I got the telephone number from but this happened to me and I spoke to a very nice lady who sorted it within minutes

    That all sounds like more work than it needs to be. I just called the apple dev help center and they fixed it then and there on the spot. all my dad did was send a copy of his drivers license. thats IT

    you got very lucky lol. I personally know a dev that lives close to me. He accidenty put his nickname instead of his full name (bob instead of robert) and here in new jersey its not legal to notarize your id. He ended up speakingg to a VERY rude rep at apple and basicallly told him he needs to buy a new dev account with his full name, thats what he ended up doing

    im from spain and i think the spanish ID is allready notarized, at least i hope so, because to get a notarized document wiil be expensive :S
    I hope there's a better and cheaper way to fix this little problem
