Hi there,

finally, my second game is on the app store now: "Cart Cow"
I started with the iPad version, the iPhone version should follow within the next days.

http://itunes.apple.com/app/CartCowHD/id417699643?mt=8

This time, I tried to achieve a more intense use of the touch screen: One must draw grounds with the fingertip so the character can roll to the level exit.

I hope you like it! 60 Levels are waiting for you.
If you do, please feel free to leave a review :-)

Wow, thanks tshirtbooth for that super fast feedback!

For Level 5: In some levels, it can happen that there is still movement in some objects, so the engine won't quit as it *might* still happen that the cow falls into the goal after all. Then one has to do it manually. But the earlier one learns to do that, the better. Same with deleting the lines, the reset button is the most important tool. The whole interface structure was a bit inspired by the the classical angry birds system, of course, that's also why I always bring up the level menu, also a bit as a dramaturgical element. But maybe I am just a too patient player when it comes to loading times... :-)

Anyway, thank you very, very much!

don't have an iPad yet but just wanted to post because your work is so inspiring. Not only does the game look interesting and fun, everything about your production is polished and professional from the games graphics to your itunes screens etc.

Well done .. count on an iphone purchase and review from me when its ready.

THIS is amazing sir! I just bought it! I really like this type of game, and since it had cows in it, I had to get it!

I agree with tshirt, You should add like an undo button to undo the most recent drawing, and an instant reset feature.
    GREAT JOB!
I hope to see this on the top of the charts!

I do. Actually, I'm doing the whole stuff all by myself except for the music.

Yes, it is. I still got a "legacy" membership. There once was a time when GS pro allowed custom splashes. And those members who had paid for their membership back then can still use this feature.

Depending on when a pro level sub was bought/renewed, some people will still have a custom splash screen.

Hi all, and thanks for the great feedback!

I also heard the suggestions for improvements, and I have just uploaded a very cool update to Cart Cow. It should go online within the next few days and it will have the following features:

    - On screen UNDO button: Now the player can erase and redraw lines continuously and on the fly during the drawing action.
    - Level loading times improved: After completing a level, it now only takes 3 seconds to get to the next level.
    - After each level, the player now can decide whether to proceed directly to the next level or to go back to the main menu.

But, as usual, it will probably take some time till the update gets online.

    @ Darren, I think I just found your review and - wow - thanks a lot! :-)

@ THEBIGBOSS: I use many different graphics tools. For the cartoon look, I often use Flash to generate clean vector graphics. 3D Studio Max for animations. But in the end, it all goes through Photoshop and/or After Effects. And I've been doing this stuff since the days of Deluxe Paint 2 back in 1989 on the Amiga. Since then I kept on learning by doing with all kinds of graphics tools; later I studied communication design. But in the end, it's mostly learning by doing.

I love this game!!!! So addicted. Getting other people addicted too.

Here is a very girlish suggestion for improving the game: in Angry Birds, the birds are sometimes happy at success ( I know, short lived as they all sacrifice their lives in the end...). But couldn't the cow look HAPPY if she does reach her goal in the cart? She's really abused a lot; I'd like to see her have a moment of triumph here or there... :)

    Excellent game.
