I'm about to hit top 100 grossing in Japan... with only 10 sales in Japan?

Hey All,

My game for the iPad, Kamikaze Command HD is about to hit the top 100 grossing arcade games in Japan with only around 10 sales in Japan... Does anyone know how this is possible? According to appannie the app is at 101.. applyzer says 122...

If this is the case, can I expect to see a sales jump if/when I make the top 100?

    Grossing ranking is not sales ranking. If you are on 100 place on top paid, than you will make some nice money! And as far as I know, AppAnnie is very accurate - it didin't make a single mistake for me (I'm talking about the rankings).

    I hit #122 education/kids app in Ireland with "Bubble Pop Discovery". I had one sale in that country at the lowest price tier (99 cents). That made me laugh.

    You know what else is funny?

    When apple puts you in the TOP spot and you check out the countries, you'd sear that there is no more than a handful of ipads/phones there. Some small tiny islands in the middle of nowhere! LOL

    One of the first apps I made completely bombed, but it did hot number 1 kids games, number 4 all games an number 17 a apps just from selling 1 copy in Mauritius! when I saw the ranking I was expecting at least 10 sales!haha.
