Musicians, Teachers & Parents - i could use your input for my iPhone app :-)

A few weeks ago (ok, it was late last year) I've made my first GS app, a trumpet for the iPad.
Besides asking for help with rules (I was 110% clueless) I've never asked the community for input regarding "user experience" but now that I have come to realize that many are involved with children (teaching/babysitting/making) and therefore I'd love your input on the trumpet app.

Unlike my first project, this one is for the iPhone!

To be honest, the real reason why I need your help is that if I can not make this app successful, my attempt of a career change has failed so therefore I really appreciate honest and constructive criticism as well as advice that gives me a chance to maybe succeed?

Here is the plan:

1) I have brand new renders for a trumpet that fits onto the iPhone screen if i move the image down and by doing so, cutting the bottom 25% of the image off. There is no other way to make room for the lessons

2) All lessons included will be "touch sensitive" which means that even if someone never played an instrument, all they have to do is touch the "notes" (coloured cubes) and receive instant visual feedback as the instrument will play the note for you.
I have done this with the flute and it works really well!

3) Unfortunately, because of the small screen size I can not include more than 5 or 6 songs but they too will be touch sensitive and therefore can be played by taping on the notes which will also play the instrument. It's kind of a fool proof method.

4) Ear training is a new module I have integrated into the flute and want to do it for the trumpet too!
It's based on a very simple concept.
There is a string of notes but (at random) one is missing. Taping the melody still moves the instrument valves but the "blank" spot only gives a sound.
There is a [Show Me] feature which the student can use to confirm if she/he got it right.

I think that these features combined with nice graphics would make a great attempt to try this one more time.

Am I missing something?

What would you change?

I am thinking to charge 99 cent or make two versions (free / non free)?

Bring it on!

p.s. i am working on stage 1, lessons as we speak :)
