Random Money Question

I was reading that other post about the 13 year old kid who used his mom's credit card to purchase his apple account and it raised a few questions... I'm over 18 but I used my dad's credit card since I don't have my own. I'm submitting all the tax forms and banking info in my own name, will that cause any trouble? Do I just have to wait until next year to renew my account under my own name? I used my apple Id so my name is already on most of the stuff but both my dad and I would rather if his name wasn't there at all.

When you say you used his card, is that it or does his name appear anywhere else?

Hello, I am the one who start that thread. Your information has to be the same as your credit card information.
If you use type your name but you use your dad credit card, it won't work.

I wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out too.

No. This is NOT TRUE!

I used someone elses CC too, but, having no problems for over a year!

In fact, if your and CC holders last names are the same, it won't be a problem at all. (It can even be different like I did.)

I uploaded a "test" game to the app store and his name also showed up as the "Seller". You can check it out here: http://itunes.apple.com/app/id415427408 My name is Evan and the owner of the credit card is Steven.

I've already purchased my dev account and everything works perfectly. It only took about 4 hours for them to send the email even though they said it could take up to 24.
