Screen shots for app submission

I'm just about ready to submit my first app. My questions is where do you obtain the screenshots for the app store? The screenshot folder looks encrypted or something, I did screen grabs but the resolution isn't acceptible in Itunes connect. so I am wondering do I make mock ups?
I have all the backgrounds obviously in photoshop but is there anywhere that I can grab the actual screen shots with the action and actors or is it back to the drawing board in photoshop?

A bit fiddly, but it works!
One thing I noticed using this method - if you have a retina display device, then the screenshots come out at 960x640 - and itunes accepts them! This will give you some very high resolution images for your itunes page!
Hope that helps!

It let's you save out any scene to the desktop.
That's what I do
Basically,
Just preview your game and click the camera icon.
The most left option saves a screenshot.
I'd that what you need?
out of curiosity how does it save to desktop?
considering that it is "just" screen shots, I wouldn't worry about how they display on the apple web site.
The good news is that the proper png image is saved out and that's all I ever use.
Basically, save screenshots of each scene I want to show in the app store on my desktop and then close GS once more.
Open the GS file to view the contents and go to the screenshots folder and remove everyone except one so that I can submit.
Once you are on the Apple iTunes site to submit, use the screenshots saved to the desktop.
Same goes for the icon which needs additional work to make it 512 x 512
thanks,
