I am thinking about getting a wacom tablet. Most likely the intuos 4. I was wondering, for those that have illustrator and photoshop, what size should I get?

this guy, has worked on many high profile games and even owns his own design school. His latest videos give a rundown on what he uses and explains why and why not certain things are better. best art channel on youtube imo http://www.youtube.com/user/FZDSCHOOL#p/u/0/XYB6Ztgwd3M

It all depends on the size of your computer screen. If your using a laptop a medium will be big enough but if your working on a desktop computer then a large will probably be required.

have you used one before? There is no sense spending all that money until you get used to them, they are not for everyone. Get the cheapest / used one you can find and use it for a few weeks, if you love it, upgrade, if you hate it, you didn't lose a ton of money.

    damn you forum!

Read this thread earlier and it made me think how inadequate my 6 inch wacom is. Just returned home with a Kanvus Artist 12 inch. Have to admit, it's really nice. Probably not intuos quality, but it is less than half the price.

I can't wait to get my intuos! It's shipping and will probably be here tomorrow. Buy it on amazon. They have great deals for intuos4s especially the small one.
