any musicians here? i just released a fun instrument and have promo-codes left

Hey gang,
a few weeks ago, I released two instruments, one for the iphone which did not get many downloads and one for the ipad which had a little over 10000 so far.
To "test" the German (and European) market further, I've created an accordion for the purpose of seeing what effect a custom tailored instrument would have in that region/target market.
The free and non free versions just went live last night so it is too early to tell but i was thinking that if some of you already play an instrument and want to have some carnival fun, i could send you promo codes of the full version.
Please note that this is not a game and if you don't play an instrument, it will frustrate you quickly. For those who play piano or organ, it could be a lot of fun to have a free accordion to bug your dog/cat/mom/turbo-nerd-friend ... or what every you got ;)

almost forgot, this is ipad only

    Well unfortunatly i cant play anything :( but if no one grabs them, you know ill love to test it out.

    wow! I was just playing a few tunes ... mac fell asleep ... time stands still when I play ... and now there are responses (which I didn't think that there would be any!

    well, they've sent me the lovely pdf but no codes so far ... maybe i should compile their pdf, make it into an ebook and upload if for approval! They let anything in these days .... LOL

    Hey gang,

    is there anyone here who is very familiar with http://appannie.com ?

    As you know, last night I've released an accordion which was a fun project and because it appeals to some Austrians who happen to have an ipad (which there are probably not many of) and so i just looked at app annie and saw that it lists in 18 places (that is the full version, not the free)

    under: iPad > Music > What's Hot

    Can that be?

    I know a lot of people here are very familiar with app annie but I'd like to learn about what those ratings mean?

    It is very difficult to switch to other app store (different country) and find a normal opening page (it's just a boring list view)

    Actually I used to play in a gypsy punk klesmer band (seriously) with a guy who played the hell out of the accordion. So I know for a fact that there is no way in hell I could ever play one!

    Hi GUIs,
    I got an email last night from someone in Tasmania stating that they downloaded both, the free and non-free version of my accordion but have no sound.

    This is the first complaint i am getting and combined, both versions had al ost 2000 downloads.

    Is this legit? Shat should I do? Obviously, I can not fix it because no one else reports this problem.

    * p.s. I made a typo when I wrote "guys" but liked what the iPad suggested so I left it in!

    Did the email say if their iPad sound was working at all? The sound works great for me. I LOVE it!

    Thanks for your feedback CTM,

    I am glad that you like the app!
    As far as "no sound" goes, I'm stumped. There is little that I can do except live with a bad review if s/he decides to do so.
    I've also looked at the sales history and there is no record for that country .... I really wish I could help but don't know how? Maybe I offer them a free promo code for the flute which is just about to hatch.

    Btw, please remind me to send you a promo for the flute as well because it functions differently from the accordion which can only play accompaniments in major keys.
    The flute does major and minor patterns which is much more useful :)

    Yeah John,
    it's a pain because there is nothing i can do.

    Someone gave me a really bad rating for the trumpet in the Netherlands forum ... it reads something like this: installed it, no sound, away with it (according to google translator)

    I suppose that Apple would never OK an app that does not load or does not play sound especially if it is an instrument!

    Right now, I am working on something new and the good thing is that I am adding "beer" to the recipe! :) Will see if that makes a sound ;)
