One week games - two down, four to go!

Hello!
I just wanted to share a project that I'm working on!
For the first six weeks of this semester I'll be creating one game prototype each week. We're already two weeks in! The games I've created so far are:
Alien Attack!! http://gamesalad.com/game/9905
Dr. Tentacle and the SHRINK RAY OF DOOM http://gamesalad.com/game/9315

The goal of each of these games is to create something that is playable and fun (and not just a clone of another game). Obviously there's only so much that can be done in a week which is why they're each only one level
I would love to know what you all think! If there's interest I'll post the games each week as I finish them - four more to go!

I'm not really crazy about Alien Attack, but I think the SHRINK RAY OF DOOM is great! That has some really nice potential!

I thought Alien Attack was interesting - especially when I found that I could dodge by using the left and right arrows!

It seems though that every attack I make 'hits' if the Alien is in the centre of the screen. This is fine, and working as intended after reading the instructions, but I can't help but think giving the alien the ability to block would be great.

Otherwise, I'm just hitting with the same button over and over and it's not a lot of fun

(I also hate that particular Kevin Mcleod music - the guy does some amazing stuff - don't just pick the first track that comes up - listen to it all and pick something that fits! - That goes for EVERYONE that uses his talents!)

Shrink Ray of Doom is AWESOME.

Such a very simple idea, done with some charm and imagination! Nice one!

Definitely my favourite of the two, and congrats on both of them - doing a game in a week is not as easy as some people would have you believe!

Looking forward to the next two!
