App is "Waiting For Upload"

BackUpAndDownBackUpAndDown Member Posts: 685
Hey,

I'm trying to upload my app to itunes connect. I've filled out all the info and now it says that it's "Waiting For Upload". The only problem is that I can't figure out how to upload it... I can seem to find the button that allows me to select the file. =/

Any help would be appreciate.

I published my app to my desktop and compressed the file and when I try to submit it using the application loader it says:

"Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid."

I'm a super noob, sorry. How would one go about creating a distribution rather than development one? Is it simply a check box or something when you are making the provision?

when your in provisioning in the provisiong portal youll see tabs above it that say development and distribution. Click distribution
  • Awesome. Thanks home slice.

    word is bond. LOL
  • Well, after fiddling with it for a while I realize this is all VERY confusing. Do I zip the profile up with the app? Is there somewhere to assign the profile to my app? *head explodes*

when your publishing with gamesalad, when you get to that part with version number and stuff, the first thing at the top is a list of all your provisoning profiles. Select the distribution one you made for you game. And then when its done publishing you just zip that file and submit in application loader
  • My problem is getting the distribution profile to work properly. The only two options I have when on that publish screen is the one I made before for development, and another one labeled "Team Provisioning Profile*" and that does not exactly sound right. :-(
  • Never mind. I finally got it figured out. Through all the, "Download this", "open this" and "Submit This" I ended up getting through it. Thanks for the help fellas.

PS: I thought Apple was supposed to make things simple? Sheesh!

    hey coltonelwood,
    sorry about your trouble ....

I just published so i can confirm that it works (which is always a good start)

So you basically removed all your profiles and set them up from scratch

did you follow tshirtbooths publishing tutorial and if "yes", at what point are you stuck?
