Limit on the number of sounds in a GS game?

Is there a limit on the number of sound or music files you can have in one game? I added 16 .ogg files to a game and it destroyed my game--couldn't even open the game file any more.

I've had more than 16 sounds files in my game before, maybe one of them was corrupt?Post

Don't know if there is a limit as I have somewhere around 65 sounds in Ghost Words

That is upsetting...Maybe there was a corruption somewhere. I've been too scared ever since then to try anything, but I'll give it a shot again and post my findings.

add songs one at a time until it crashes out, but if you can't even open the project, it sounds like the game itself got corrupted.

I added 10 songs, no problem. I saved and quit. I open the project, ok.

I can't go to the scene editor! I can't preview! I can't do anything--I'm stuck on the home screen no matter what I press.

I am working on applications that are centered around sound playback and so far, I have not found that GS or the iPad would have a limitation.
Right now, I can play three different sounds against a fourth audio file which is playing a backing track. The instruments are responding natural and I can play quite fast.
Once in a while, a sound pad mutes but I can live with that since my apps are not $9.99 a piece.

Are you running other apps in the background? Maybe look what else might have not shut down and perhaps kill that process?

Hard to make suggestions but I would reboot and just fire up GS to see if it works better that way.

add one song, save & quit, reopen and check that it works.
then add another song, save and quite, and check.
and keep going until it breaks.

then try again and do the same thing, but skipping the last song that cause it to break

maybe you have a bad file.

also, how are you saving these sound files before you import them?
