Publish game with Hackintosh

Is it possible to publish games on the app store using a Hackintosh?
I want to know if Apple asks for a serial number of the computer or something else.

What about developing a game with GS on a hackintosh and then use an ordinary Macbook Pro to publish it with? Shouldn't be any problems with transfering the game from a hackintosh to a MBP?

I still use a hackintosh and I have absolutely no problem with publishing.

I had problems with hackintosh and GS, when I used my AMD based PC for it.
Since I have an intel based IBM laptop, I have no problems.

If you have a decent cpu and enough ram, you can run a vmware image of Snow Leopard. I own Snow Leopard and Apple hasn't been cracking down on vmware builds in anyway. It's preferable to use vmware or something that can host a virtual image as with my experience with hackintosh: I built 3. All worked but had bizarre bugs. The bad thing though was that I couldn't update any of the installs without either losing functionality or going through a whole truckload of tasks, changes, blah, blah.

With vmware, wanna know the most bizarre thing? After I updated Snow Leopard to the latest version, it boots insanely fast and performance is actually better than my little macbook (which currently is confiscated by the gf lol). Figure that one out.

I started using GS with a 10.1" Hackintosh NetBook. Only issue I really ad was it was slow since it was 1.6Ghz and 1Gig of Ram. Also since the 0.9.0 update the resolution was too small use the publishing portion. I have since got a Macbook Pro and it is amazing the difference between Hackintosh and Real Deal.

I had a intel hackingtosh desktop and no issues with Gs. Works really well.
