Hey guys,

Brief question regarding making apps for others; is it as simple as being added to their Apple account in some way? Or do you have them send you their certificate and provisioning profile?

No mad rush on the info, just something I've been thinking about lately - so if anyone can help that'd be awesome.

Peach :)

    Hey pp,
before i discovered GS (under 2 feet of snow), I've met with two freelance programmers and each one told me that I need to register a developer account so that they can use my data and publish under that name.

    Be good!

There is some sort of team thing in the provisioning portal but I think ultimately you will need them to create a distribution certificate and provisioning profile and send them to you. Or they give you account info but I would guess most would be uneasy with doing that.

yeah if they want it under there name as publisher (which most will) they can add you as a team member to there developer account. You can then request your provisiong and dist certificate threw there (which will ask them to approve) you then download and install those, and then build and sign with them. Then send them back the finished build ready to be upload with threw there dev account.
