Scenes not loading in GS Creator

When I double click on a scene in the Project Editor, the screen does not change to the Scene Editor view. The text at the top of the window changes to "Scene Editor" but it still shows the Project Editor screen.

This is the first time this has happened to me across all my projects. It first happened after I added 16 sounds to the Audio section. Is there some kind of limit on the amount of sounds you can have in a game?
