Here is my current version of the character for a pirate themed game. Idea is to have 4 moving directions for the character and here is the 1st version of head graphics (all directions intentionally face the player).
Any critics and feedback is welcome. It would be nice to find more personality for this character.
more details and shades needed.

well drawn.
i'll have more variety for a character. at least 2 different animations to each direction, depending how fast hero moves.
here is the current version of menu style i've been doing lately.

LOL sorry I couldn't resist
I have been thinking a simple game with "rolling ball in a maze" mechanics. Ball = pirate at the slippery deck of the ship.
It would be nice to have some small puzzle elements included also.
I've done simple z-depth system, basic mechanics with accelerometer control, basic level unlocking system, most graphic assets and menus so far.
I'm a real newbie as a gamesalad developer, but i'm slowly getting there.
I think the line where it is possible to turn back is crossed, and i hope to see something to be published.
No-one told me there was a line!!!
