Whats the deal with Apple Review Process lately

Well just as the title says. Now this is my second submission since itunes reopened on the 28th and I go into review 2-3 days from submitting but now am in review for 24 hours each time. This one is just a lite version of Galactic.Towers which is already on the store. so whats the deal with that do you think? are they just looking for a reason to reject it?

    It is weird, I had updates on three apps recently. I submitted the first, an entertainment app, and about 5 days later I submitted a game app, and ONE day later that was approved, so then I submitted a submitted a lifestyle app. One day later, my entertainment app was approved, and the day after the lifestyle app was approved.

    So, the entertainment app took about 8 days, while during the same period the free game app took about 2 and the lifestyle took about 3. Go figure.

    The game, which has been on the app store for almost a year, was for some reason just featured by Apple as "what's hot" in a few smaller countries (not US), so I wondered if that had anything to do with the speed up.
