Profile settings don't work

when i try to enter in my profile settings, i get the following message:

We're sorry, profile settings update has been temporarily disabled.

Sorry if this sounds insincere but profile settings and such have been disabled since the update to 0.9. This has been discussed so many times. I realize the search function sucks on this site but still an attempt would be nice to cut down on the daily repeat questions. I actually searched using your topic name and found several posts with the same question and correct answers.
