why is this happening??? : Image blur

every time i stretch my background images to the size of the ipad the images look all pixelated and im realizing this is happeining ever since the new gamesalad update? and my images is large enough there 1.5 mb per image. and saved under a 300dpi why is this happening can someone help me thanks! and oh happy new years eve every one!

1.5 mb an image is too big.

Try saving it at 72dpi.

I too create in 300dpi... and had this horrid blur with my original GS work...

GS displays well only in 72dpi as Darren said... so use what dpi you want to create but save a copy in 72 dpi and put those images in your program.

everything will look good!

also use ImageOptim to clean out those unneeded bytes in your image files...
