ANIMATION

I am animating a spring like mechanism and when the actor rolls on it it will burst up. I have everything good to go but when i set the animation, instead of getting bigger it stays the same size and compresses the pic. Please help!
Thanks

wanted to help and bring this question back into view so I'll have a go at a couple of suggestions. Animation from what I have seen just rotates through the images within the space provided by the first image:

    1. Make all images the size of the biggest one ie: if the first is a compressed spring have the image still be as big as the uncompressed but all the space will be transparent. In order for your object to 'sit' on the compressed spring you will need to create a second actor and make it transparent, placing it on the spring actor and making it your collision actor.

    2. You could try a spawn and destroy sequence so new 'spring expanding' actors are created but I always see warnings regarding using spawn and its effect on fps so consider this if trying this method.

You also try changing your actor size when you start your animation so that the spring actor actually pushes the ball or what ever when it expands
