Just left you a quick review and suggestion on TA. I think you should redo the app's icon to a cool 8bit icon to match the style of the game, the current icon is nice, but it's a real disconnect from the style and theme of the game in my opinion.
It looks like all your promo codes are gone... I'm starting to wonder how many people outside of the GS devs are watching these boards and poaching promo codes with zero intention of ever posting a review...?

Thanks for the input! The icon is definitely something I'm thinking of redoing in the new patch update, as much as I like the current icon, I do not think it is drawing people in.
For those who are willing to give reviews, I'll PM a few more promo codes so lurkers will stop taking them.
Glad you like the icon, I was getting mad at all the ones I made because I hated them all lol. This one just came to mind the day after, really pops out more.
Love the new icon sorry to hear sales are still low it seems you need a front page feature on apple and lots of press to make any money on the app store.
Thought I would give a sales report update for you folks since being featured in N&N
Number of SOLD units (excluding promo codes)
Jan 6 (first few hours of being featured) - 19 Jan 7 - 50 Jan 8 - 81 Jan 9 - 94 Jan 10 - 60
I'll find out how today went, tomorrow, hopefully it was just a temporary sales drop, still strong though! Getting quite a few 4/5 and 5/5 reviews on iTunes as well
GO Nexus! Those figures are much better suited for a game like Gravonaut! I played Gravonaut and I saw the trailer and I'd say it was super brilliant. The game's 8 bit look is nostalgic!
You have a competitor though. There's this game I just downloaded which is called Gravity Guy by MiniClip on the iPad. Not sure if it's on the iPhone too. Similar gameplay elements. Not sure how well the game is doing though. You might want to check.
I hope you stay on the N&N longer, maybe you could ride on the popularity of that other game by making and submitting another update to refine your keyword for Gravonaut. I did a search on "gravity" and that other game came up first page. I hope this can help you propel your sales download once you're off the N&N.
This game looks great and fun and when I update my itunes account, I'll purchase it.
I'll be watching this game. I have a few ideas myself for retro style and making games with a limit of 120 by 80 pixels is fun and definitely forces you to be creative. I really want to see your game take off and be successful, so I'm watching to see if more and more people become interested in retro style. The smooth gradient style has been done to death. A lot of it is nice, but it's also very nice to play a retro style game with pixel art as well.
Also the commercial is funny. Good work. It's a lot better than the commercial for one of my favorite games: Joust. That commercial was shot by people doing all sorts of drugs and why the hell did the guy turn into a buzzard at the end?
Gravity Guy was released just days before I was I believe, since it was from miniclip, they have a stronger following so it is a little hard to compete. Next patch I shall update my keywords to support a more variety of terms.
Thanks for the very flattering words gentlemen. I'll be having more details soon on this update and some other news with a *possible* iPad and Mac version (thanks to Darren of course), will talk more on that later

Does it run very slow on an iPhone 3g?
used: WWYFM69WYTFJ but couldn't install, since i've got a 3g.
Hope this picks up a bit for you!

Now if I could get on the front page of TA then maybe I'd get a sales boost :P
What's new in version 1.1:
-Fixes to the death counter where it would rarely display the incorrect number of deaths.
-Level 3 difficulty balancing.
-Level 10 unlock save function fixed where after getting to level 10, it would remain locked at the level select screen.
-Other minor bug fixes.
-New app icon.

Anyways here is a little teaser of what is coming in the next BIG update for Gravonaut, version 1.2

Other news, Gravonaut is doing well and has been raking in some extremely positive reviews from the web and users.
As a side note, I'm doing a little experiment with a new price point of a $1.99, interesting results so far.
