Hi,
i finally slowed down and read some tutorials on how to properly install everything so now i have the game salad viewer on my new iphone!
I am new to game viewer and here is the readout from a game which i sent in the other day:

Images: 3.4 MB
Sounds: 1.5 MB
Game Engine: 3.9 MB
Other: 10.2 MB
Total: 18.9 MB

I wonder what "other" means? Does it maybe have something to do with a bug that Photics posted (screenshots related)?

Anyone curious enough to fire up your apps and see what you get?

Thanks :)

Not sure what the "other" is...but 18.9 MB is so small, it doesn't really matter (which is probably why no one responded LOL).

I think that was for my trumpet app ...
Now that it's in iTunes, I can actually see the "real" file size which for this app turned out to be about 8 MEG.

    No worries there :)

I'm pretty sure that number is how much memory you are using not the file size.

Still struggling to find out what the "other" part of the memory usage really means. Sometimes I test my game and the "other" is 20mb, and the next time I test it its at 8mb...both in the same exact scene. Whats up with that?

    Well,
no one who can write on yellow paper responded to clear up the mystery and the only reason why i clicked on the topic is because I wanted to know the ansca too!

I suppose now, that I have made a few apps which are getting smaller and smaller in size it doesn't bother me anymore (the not knowing part that is)

    ciao :)
