Exciting - Annoyed Tomatoes & Arcade Action are in review!

This is it... my ultimate plan is on the threshold of commencement. The Apple review process is the catalyst for a new era — one where I will find new success or perhaps continued disappointment. The free versions of Annoyed Tomatoes and Arcade Action are waiting for approval.

Will these two GameSalad apps meet the strict standards?
Will Apple approve of my house advertisement technique, as they've done before?
Will iAds appear properly?
Will lots of people download and play my games?
Will this lead to more textbook sales?
Will the "Release Date" listings get ruined again?
Will the apps crash?
Will the new GameSalad loading video upset my customers?

In 24 hours it is possible that I will know all the answers to these questions.

Well this is good news. I believe in another post you said you submitted them on the 6th or 7th? I submitted one on the 8th and another on the 13th. I'm not holding too much hope for the one on the 13th to make it in before the Great Apple Review Christmas Blackout of 2010, but the first one I've been eagerly awaiting and this would mean 1-2 more days until Reivew time.

Ha... I rejected the binaries four times. I thought they were ready to go before Thanksgiving.

The most recent versions were both uploaded on the 6th.

I sent in the App version of The Unofficial GameSalad Textbook on the 12th. I'm still somewhat optimistic that it can clear review before the Christmas break.

Well... I just saw a new status message for Annoyed Tomatoes...

    Processing for App Store

I think that's a good message. It seems like my app was approved and will appear on the iTunes App Store tomorrow.

UPDATE - Arcade Action just switched to "Processing for App Store" too.

My first one I rejected the binary 3 times, and it's scary how significantly it changed between the first and fourth upload. There is more I would change now, but it's more of a proof of concept than anything so I've let it off its leash and will save the changes for a more significant future update.

I decided yesterday I like the delay of the review process. I've been able to filter the down time and anxiety toward building and improving the website.

2 hours to go from In Review to Processing for App Store? Well that's awesome news.

They're ready for sale. I set them to appear tomorrow... 12/16/2010.

Bah... I got hit with the screenshot issue.

When I uploaded my app through the Application Loader, it said 19.7. That number doesn't seem to count. Apparently, it's larger than that. My app ballooned to 20.2 MB... which might mean less downloads for Annoyed Tomatoes. I think the wireless download limit is 20 MB.

The free version of Annoyed Tomatoes is already available in Australia, as it's 12/16/2010 over there. I saw the 20.2 number and realized this was already off to a bad start!

If not for all those screenshots added to my project, Annoyed Tomatoes (Free) would likely be under 20 MB.
