Hello everyone!
I just noticed it's nearly Christmas!
Luckily, we have a Christmas game coming out tomorrow, Monday 13th December!
Link here: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/a-merry-gravitrixmas/id407897537?mt=8
It's the festive version of Gravitrixx, titled 'A Merry Gravitrixmas'
There are just over 60 levels to the game, which includes 'remixed' versions of levels found in Gravitrixx, along with a healthy dose of brand new levels.
It's aimed at the Xmas/Kids/Casual market, so there's an improved tutorial, tilt controls as standard (though Gravitrixx players that liked the buttons can switch to that control method), some awesome Christmassy tunes from Kevin Mcleod and fabulously festive graphics from Ian at Debug Design!
Here's a video:
Here's a link to the original Gravitrixx: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gravitrixx/id404543866?mt=8
Cheers everyone - and have A Merry Gravitrixmas!

It was certainly fun to make!
@Juz - yep - we think it'll appeal to more people too! We certainly won't stop making games in the style *we* want to make though, but we're aware that some stylistic choices will essentially stand a better chance in the marketplace.
I like to think we can do both!
Cheers everyone! Have a merry Gravitrixmas!

The only real downside at the mo' is that the GS publishing system effectively *doubled* the size of my app after Resolution independence
It's close to 40MB, when in reality it's closer to 20MB.
Obviously not ideal, but nowt I can do about it now, right?

first of all, congrats on your game! I hope it does well for you
I am interested to learn more about RI since it causes a lot of mess here and there ....
But this is not the thread to discuss this so I wait 'till it pops up on its own space.
Again, I watched the demo and was curious what the other levels would look like .... I think i'm becoming more open to games in the second half of my life
Speaking of which, Gravitrixmas is now available! Yay!

I have the original and it rocks!
Darren.
For a second I thought this was going to be a Christmas message just wishing us all merry Christmas...
Thanks
It was our original idea to do this, but we decided that more than half the levels of Gravitrixx at half the price was a pretty good deal.
We also should have a LITE version of the original Gravitrixx out this week along with an update that puts in tilt controls and direction indicators.
Once they're out, we'll be hitting the news sites hard with press releases/promo codes for both Gravitrixx and Gravitrixmas. Hopefully that'll help us shift a few, but we're running out of time! Come on, Apple! It kinda is Christmas has become Gravitrixmas, at least at Sheep Towers Hey Joe,
I use screenflow - it's great in that it allows you trim the visible picture down to just the GS preview screen size. There's loads of other options too, and it's invaluable for this kind of stuff in my opinion
@Beefy + Utopian - thank you guys! You rock

Just bought the original and am having a lot of fun with it. I'll surely buy this one also. Expect some nice reviews in the Italian AppStore.
About to download it and give it a go!
Thanks guys - that's awesome

We've just had Gravitrixx LITE released on the app store today, so maybe that will help!

Please give it a download and a try!
Gravitrixx is available here still:

And I think that's us done for now!

We submitted updates today for Gravitrixx, Gravitrixx Lite and Gravitrixmas - essentially getting rid of the 'bloat' thanks to the screenshots.
They're all under 20MB now, as intended! Thanks Joe! Unfortunately we went down to just one sale yesterday for Gravitrixmas, but we did send out a press release today for Gravitrixmas and Gravitrixx - maybe that'll help build a little awareness Thanks to you too! I hope you *do* enjoy it!
