OK, so as of today it's been 20 days that I've been waiting on an app to get approved.
I got an email on the 2nd or 3rd telling me it was going to take some extra time;
"We are currently reviewing an app that you submitted for inclusion on the App Store, and want to let you know that the review process will require additional time. We apologize for the delay and will provide you with an update on the status of your app as soon as possible."
I just wondered who else has had this and if it's likely an issue with my app?
I can't see what the problem would be. It only supports one orientation but it's portrait and that's never been an issue before for me - the one time I forgot to support both landscape orientations they let me know fast, no delays.
Anyway - just wondering if anyone has any info; it's a tad frustrating >.<'

How does this actually work when apple does approve an app? Do they email you that is is approved or give you a heads up in any way? ... just wondering
I'd hazard a guess that they've found something they don't like with Peaches app, as 20 days sounds too long. I submitted Mole in a Hole on 4th December and it was approved on the 8th, catching me completely by surprise.
That being said, I got that generic message once, and it was because I was using some of the official iPhone icons in a way it shouldn't have been used.

I don't know what they possibly couldn't have had an issue with is the thing.
I have waited long amounts of time before, Happy Doodle Sushi Smile took around 20 days too, but that was due to Thanks Giving and I expected it.
I am not using any copyrighted material, I'm not using any Apple pictures of any kind or any technology-related items for that matter, there is zero sex, zero profanity, zero drug use and the game doesn't crash.
It's a whac-a-mole type game but you don't see a mallet, things just disappear as they're hit and say "ouch!" - then points appear and float up the screen.
I wondered if it didn't have enough like, content depth or whatever - but I mean, it's very clear what it is.
PS - Sorry it took several hours to respond, it's been a long, long day. >.<'
