Mac Individual Developer Account

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any reason I shouldn't list myself as an individual app developer instead of a business? I don't plan on marketing a brand name or anything, this is really just a hobby for me.

Insights/reasons/restrictions?

no need to list as a business unless you are one.

list as individual... use tax info filed in your personal income (you can still deduct expenses incurred to enable your earnings.)

you can still list your apps under a created name... and link to a website in that name... or email.

the main purpose in a business listing is to verify who owns it; and who is liable for taxes and answerable for consumer complaints... this is more important if you are a partnership.
