Hey gang, i just recorded the best song i know (unlike last time) on the new clarinet i am working on. If nothing weird happens, I should be able to submit this tomorrow ....
There is one thing which scares me. I actually don't have an iPhone and this app will be resolution independent as all the artwork is at double the iPhone3 dimensions.
Tomorrow, a friend will come by with his iphone 4 and then we can test if to see if I can upload it or tweak some more.
I spent a lot of time getting the sounds 'right" and the response if really good. I think once the songs are added, kids should have a blast :)

The video is on my web page, top post http://littlecomposers.net/ and on youtube

That looks great, fella! Kids will probably love it!

I assume that there's notation or *something* that tells them what is being pressed, or what they should be pressing, that matches the screen action and colours?

    QS :D

Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home...

Awesome job on the sounds and visuals. I love the button animation with the shadow and the valve (???) opening! Good job!

You assume correctly :) I am developing a new way to show notation which works for the smaller iphone screen and, every app of mine features original songs for kids (plus the usual stuff).

    Thanks scitunes,
at first, I wanted to take the shadows out (they were not planned) but then i've decided to just leave them in because I have enough room at the top for the songs. Plus, a bigger touch area doesn't hurt ether.

I really like GS ... with the help of John and a few others, i was able to reproduce most of my Flash functions except for the ability to have the computer read "random" compositions made by the user.

Best of all, i found someone who will lend me her iphone to do some testing tomorrow :)
