Adding sound slows fps

So I have an actor the jumps and shoot bullets. I added a rule to the bullet that whenever it is created it will play the shooting sound. Whenever the main actor jumps, it plays a jumping sound.
This has done nothing but slow down my fps. Any suggestions?

Just making sure that all your sounds are all saved as 22 Khz, mono .ogg files?
