Could I be sued for copyright violation if i do this?

Hey, my character Froggie has a great deal in common with this plush toy. If I use Froggie's Current appearance, could I be suspected of copyright infringement? Froggie is the character in my profile pic, and can be seen in my game.

Absolutely not. They are plenty different. It's actually hard to tell that the toy was he inspiration for your character (i mean that in a good way).

Oh thank goodness! Thanks for the help guys!

What about the name "Froggie", I am uncertain if that is a copyrighted name or not, but it is not the name of the stuffed animal.

Do a trademark search. I'd do it but I'm kinda busy. ;-)

Is using photos of public buildings (in say Las Vegas)that I turn into cartoon images a violation?

    Thanks.

No, not at all (providing the original photos are copyright free). And even if not, if the final image has been heavily filtered in photoshop and maybe distorted and/or stretched or squashed, I don't think you'll have any trouble there either.
