Can I still use gamesalad 0.8?

Hey,

I'm not sure if my mac has the requirements for game salad 0.9. I'm wondering if old version can still publish games?

I'm kinda scared of updating to 0.9 since if it doesn't work, I can't find any download link for the old version on the site.

Any info that could help me?

GS has dropped Leopard support - only machines with Snow Leopard can use GameSalad these days.

Additionally, they usually have a 'grace period' of a week or so for older versions as new versions are introduced. I don't think this is the case with .9 though.

You can currently only publish with the latest version of GameSalad.

    Hope that helps,

Why would you need a new Mac? The only requirement difference is a $29 copy of snowleopard. Which runs on all macs that ran gamesalad before.

Oh really? I tought my mac was outdated for 0.9!

Also, mac OS is really cheap compared to windows. I'm glad it's only 30 bucks :)

    Thanks a lot for info!

As long as your Mac has an Intel processor, you're good to go. :-)

You are really wrong. Snow leopard is a minor upgrade.. so it cost only 29 bucks
Google how much is the price from Tiger to Leopard
And also that was a upgrade (major)
And Mac OS usually is sold with the machine, so is OEM
Windows OEM is about 119 bucks

I see, so can I get it for 29 if I'm on 10.5.4?
