Has anyone made a "lite" version of their game? I hear that sometimes this can boost sales? Anyone have any info on this, that would be great, I'm thinking of creating some lite versions for all my games, but not sure if this is the best thing to do

Im not saying you have made a bad product, as I don't even know what its about, but if you want a lite version that will make you success and boost sales then your app has to be really quite something good.
I've been reading online and they're all saying to make a lite version, but use your judgment for each title. Depending on the game, you may want to steer away from making a lite version, but if you think it's a great product that will sell, then you should make one.
The question is, how do you submit your game as a lite version?
You just trim down the levels and if it's a platformer, perhaps have 2 levels to play with, and put a link in there that says buy the full version?
Does the icon have to be different from the full version or can you use the same icon?
Anything else I should know before submitting a lite version of an app?
obtain the link and put it in the lite version right? Or is there another way to do this ?
1) Will it work if I have a pop up asking folks to go download my game from iTunes Store? 2) Will Apple reject my app?
Thanks!
Also, Pro doesn't allow in app purchases, just links.
