Hey everyone!

Well, today's my 40th, and Gravitrixx is out!

Yay!

Here's a link to the game:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gravitrixx/id404543866?mt=8

Here's the vid in case you missed it!

Also, if anyone wants a US promo, send me message via GS mail and I'll try and hook you up - there's only a limited amount left, so do let me know if you want one and I'll see what I can do!

We've already got an update in the oven, which should be out before the end of the month, and another update due mid December I think...

We also have a new look website at www.quantum-sheep.com - still in its early stages, but it looks quite nice! :D

Thanks to all of you for your support - especially Joe who did our graphics! And thanks to GameSalad - we couldn't have made it without you! :D

Thanks all!

QS :D

So I got home from work and sat down to buy my copy of Gravitrixx and before I hit the 'Buy App' button I noticed I only had a $1.50 left in my account. #@*!

I don't like to give them my Visa so I ran back out to the garage, hooked up the dogs to the sled and proceeded to head into town so I could grab another iTunes card from the Safeway...

Nearly frozen after the commute I run into Safeway to quickly grab a card so I could head home before it got dark and the vampires come out to feed only to find out... they are out of cards! $%*!

At least I was able to grab a Starbucks before heading off to my next stop 3 blocks away; the Extra Foods! There was no way that they wouldn't at least have one freaking card for me to pick up. Even if it was a $50 card (equivalent $1,984,436 USD), there was no way I was going home without one.

But, it wasn't meant to be... no cards.

With a bit of a mist starting to blow into town I turned the dog team towards one last destination; the drug store. When all else fails... when you need 6 D-Cell batteries at quarter to midnight or a pack of playing cards to get you through those nights of drunken stupor, there is always the trusty drugstore...

It was getting on dark by the time I reached it and the dogs were starting to get restless with all the evil floating through the air and the walkers getting a bit too close for comfort, but I didn't care. I had finally managed to find a place to buy my iTunes card... just so I could pick up my copy of Gravitrixx. With my $15 card in hand, I heeled the dogs towards home before the sun set over the hills.

As I smugly sat in my office, scratched off the whiff of grey foil covering the code and eagerly entered it into my iTunes account, I knew I was set... Once I had made my purchase and downloaded it I proceeded to snag my wifes iPhone... only to find out that she was too busy using it to go through pictures on our network drives. :(

    Foiled again.

Oh well, I'll get to play it one day and at least I got my copy before they sold out!

    True story... all it...

@Rattlehead - Dude! I remembered that you mentioned living in Cochrane, AB so, just for fun, I looked up the weather there tonight. -23ºC? That's -9ºF! That's insane! If I ever make it out your way, you gotta promise me a ride on your dog sled -- that would be awesome!

@quantumsheep - I don't get paid until next week but I promise to buy it when I do. I've been looking forward to this since you first mentioned it.

Ha. You're close by. I'm in Calgary, but used to be up in Peace River. I got lost once when my skidoo broke down but luckily got found by this hillbilly conspiracy nut. He was armed to the teeth and we had to kill quite a few walkers before we could get back to the nearest town. They just do NOT like to die. Damn.

Tonight was a close call too. It must be -25 now and with the wind chill at least -35. I'm sure there were some darkones watching me from the woods in the park.

And for the record... Safeway or Slaveway as I like to call them, sucks. May they be blown clean off the surface of the planet.

    @Blacksheep,

That is an awesome game. Very clever. I wish you grand success and will buy a copy of it. :D
