Koocachoo! - Cheap Game Graphics from Debug Design

debugdesigndebugdesign Member Posts: 886
Hi Guys and Gals

I know most of you (i think!) but I just wanted to let you know I am still doing game graphics.

I have updated my game graphics website Koocachoo: http://www.koocachoo.co.uk

So you can see what I've been up to... I have created graphics for over 50+ games and my animation is getting better (slowly but surely).

I have a lot of happy customers which can be seen on this thread: http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=6339#post-40762

I work from GMT 6am - 8am, 6pm - 9pm and pretty much all day weekends so the best time to get orders in is Thursday / Friday.

Start: I will need as much information as possible about your game such as type of game (platform, shooter, top down, side scrolling etc), story, similar games, etc so I can get a feel for it. I will NOT steal your idea or game as I am WAY to busy...

Process: After I have the brief and the price is agreed I will send over some concept work in a jpg which will include multiple images. Animations are turned into animated gifs and uploaded so you can see them in action. After feedback I will make any changes and re-submit. If another set of changes is required I will do it (rare) and then on approval I will ask for a paypal payment to be sent. On receipt of this I will send over the png files separated which can be sized 'as seen' or as 'retina display' size.

Payment: Made by paypal or bank transfer. Pre-paid clients get png files throughout the process.

Style: My style is generally cartoony (i love doing this) and although I can do 'photo realism' it takes time and the cost is higher

Prices: Let me know what budget you can afford as I will try and accommodate all, however, if you want to know the lowest limit (many do) it's $30

There is a few examples on my new website and I will attempt to post some below:

Why: In real life I am a full time graphic designer but I love game graphics and the GS community hence why I charge a fraction of what I am charged at as a day job. This is a hobby so if I decline the job to 'create a 3D representation of a lung' then its because I am doing this for fun and I apologize.

I look forward to working with you soon.

Ian

    Ian,
I had twitted and emailed you a couple of weeks ago (check your spam ;)

As a side note, I had also mentioned that maybe you should create a package (everybody is doing it) that you can sell (10 images with source code for $x amount or 100 png for $10, etc).

A lot of users need platformer props with your style.
I'll be interested in backgrounds, floors, trees, etc.
    Might want to consider it.

Make a poll and see how much people would pay and/or think.

    Just a thought.

1st off, just to say i have used Ian countless times and everytime he has been extremely professional and of a great service.

@Rdcube's suggestion ... Oooh i like the idea of a props package, very good idea and would be very useful for the community.

I will check for any emails I might have missed... sorry RDCube!

I will also dig out some photo realism stuff but this costs the big bucks as it takes SO long :)

I will create a pack as well and see how it goes down...

    Great news!

I may have something in the next few days for you - but then you know that because we're chatting right now! ;)

Also, to add to what beefy wrote, Ian is generally very very quick to get the work done - great if you're in a hurry!

    QS :D

    NP ;P

I already started creating my own (based on your style...you're definitely an inspiration).

Main thing was about prop items; I like stuff you have on your Dragon Fire Una's Quest game (which is cool btw ;)

I heard about you from Sci Tunes and I AM 100% VERY INTERESTED!!!

Been working on my game about 6-7 hours a day 5 days a week. It's not the best but it's almost done and i'm pretty proud of it, my biggest issue is Graphics! :( I'm not the richest guy in the world but I do work full time so even if I have to use my credit card or something I will.

Most work is on hold at the moment. I am happy to take on smaller jobs such as characters, objects etc (single graphics) but full graphic jobs such as characters/levels/ingame screens (the whole lot) I can not do...

baby due soon... Will make announcement soon as I have a graphics pack and some random graphics to sell.
