This is the T.A. thread for my first game created without GS;

http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=73176

I thought it was worth sharing and getting some feedback on :)

For anyone who is interested, it took me about 3 weeks - one of those was spent waiting on a fix for Openfeint and about 5 days was spent learning the basics of Lua.

Any opinions are welcome :)

    Looking good! Was this your Corona project?

    Yes, this was my first proper Corona project; I did create others but not up to the level I'd ever release them.

    It was amazing to see my code come to life - and as I unlocked my own OpenFeint achievements and set high scores, I felt thoroughly invigorated!

    Congrats peach!

    I'm still waiting on a confirmation from GS on what will exactly be happening. (forced ads, tag line on splash screen, etc)

    Thank you :)

    I will be using GS for as long as they don't force indies to, by definition, no longer be indies - I just want options.

    That said Corona is awesome as well and I'm loving Facebook and OpenFeint and I do plan to use it for many future projects as well.

    Plus, if I am creating apps for others I need the option of doing so properly - I can't give someone who is paying me money an app with a GS splashscreen, lol. :P

    Serious congrats peach!

    I've been on the fence regarding putting serious time into developing for Corona, but your success(at least at creating the app, and hopefully in selling it too) has made me re-think that. Great job!

    Thank you BarkBark, if you're interested in any tutorials let me know - I've been writing a couple to help others who want to broaden their skill sets as well :)
