Lately it is trendy to not just having plump screenshots of your game on iTunes, but having nicely designed images about your game or app.
I also had to experiment around. It is an example for our game Assault Commando
What do you think?

Really love the look of the pic, makes me want to buy.
Darren.
It is just our top game, which we want to sell right now, that's why I made the pics for that game first.
LOL. I just realized on appannie.com, that the light version is featured in 12 stores in new & noteworthy since today.
EDIT: this picture was replaced by a newer one.
I like having a different army image in the top right corner for each. Shows off the graphics nicely.
With outer stroke it looks ugly and even harder to read.
Thanks for the feedback btw :-)
I'm glad, you like it.
I uploaded these pics to iTunes.
For instance:
Different Weapons!
When I see a game like this, I expect different weapons. What's a shooter without power ups? But the way it is worded leads me to believe that sure, there are different weapons, but not many. Maybe 3 or so. If it has a substantial amount, highlight that fact. "8 distinctly unique weapons!" or "Over 6 different weapons!"
And if you don't have a significant amount of weapons, I'd just show a few screenshots of those weapons in action side by side or something.
At least on the first one :-)
---- Sales are not really good unfortunately.
We have 10-20 sales per day, which is way below of our expectations.
On the first day we had a few thousand.
The game earned about $10.000 since release on september 2nd
