Here's the first image (The main menu) for my new game, currently called 'Trapped' until I can think of another title thats available on the app store.
Created purely in photoshop...
What do you think of the image?

There's only 2 different sorts, Arial Black and another....but perhaps if I make the button text 'CAPITALS' to match the other text it will seem less varied....
I could also make the smaller text 'Welcome to' and 'Enjoy your stay' normal Arial font.
Cheers

Do you think the buttons should only work when the actual buttons on the left are pressed or when the text metal plaque is pressed as well?
also, the blood should have sharper edges, it's too 'cloudy', the blood on the HELP button looks great
Finally, on the word lifts, it blends into the background too much. You should try giving it a little more definition, all the other words look like they have inner shadows, maybe Lifts needs some too.
make only the buttons active, and since it's in bad shape, have the background color the the help button flash every so often like there is an electrical short!

flashing help button...genius idea... thanks for that nugget of gold.
Have now also made an options and help page in a similar vain.
Also working on a nice quick scrolling transition, so its as if you are going up past some floors to get to each inner menu....
It's quite nice, tinkering making a nice menu whilst I still plan out the main game puzzles in my head.
