Lite version tip

Here is an image that i used as a menu in the lite version. Two things to note. One, I have the "full version is available..." but notice the level numbering. I thought that was a good way to show people how much content is in the full version without having things grayed out or locked.

This is the 3rd time I have done this and all have been approved.

Good thinking there, scitunes. I wonder if you'd be allowed to put the web address there also, for ease for your users to find the full version?

Actually I would think searching in iTunes for the title would be way faster than typing in the web address.

The best way to do this is to put automatic links to your full version. Sadly, I don't have pro...

Ah yes, of course, that's a feature of pro. Did I read recently that the standard/pro licensing difference is going to be changed to an all in one? Must have dreamed it...

According to the sticky all the pro features will be standard in GSD!!
That means iads and url forwarding

Also apple's new guide has a section on how to make a lite version as well.
    Its a descent read.

App Store Tip: Just Right "Lite"
    ...follow a few simple rules:

    ...
Only display the UI for what your "Lite" version will do. Grayed out menu commands, "more track/car choices" you can see but not select, etc. makes your "Lite" version feel more like a commercial than a product, and an annoying and ineffective one at that.
    ...
It's important to follow these simple rules not only to create a better user experience, but also because your app will be returned to you by the App Review Team for modification if it is found to have time limits, incomplete functionality, or disabled functionality.

Apple says all kinds of things and then does all kinds of other things. What they say and what they do doesn't always match. I'm just passing along some of my experiences. I did not gray out anything on the menu and every level that has a button works. But I would think most people would look at the game and quickly figure out how many levels are in the full version.

I think this is a very good tip.

The way you have done it follows Apples guidelines. This screen does not suggest more functionality in the full game, just more levels.
