    awesome!

massive congrats... Gizmodo and Touch Arcade are the only sites I visit for new app news, I reckon you'll see a huge jump in downloads for a week or two.

Made the What's Hot list... Congrats... nice work. I grabbed a copy ;)

Thanks blondon! I saw the change but wasn't sure if that was standard Apple behavior - move apps from one featured category to another? Anyway, it's nice to be up there a little longer :-)

    (update is taking forever)

And How was the sales boost?
  • netdzynrnetdzynr Member Posts: 296
@ Mago -- If you're asking about the Gizmodo mention, it happened on a Friday (right before the weekend) so there's no way to know if that helped sales at all (guessing not). But it was personally rewarding because I like the blog :-)

Moving from "New and Notable" to "What's Hot" = no perceptible sales increase.

Although a few days back, I did get contacted by an iPad accessory company that wants to use some art from PLEXXR on their packaging. That was a nice surprise.

Did you go for it, were the offering compensation? Great news either way!
  • netdzynrnetdzynr Member Posts: 296
No compensation -- just credit/mention on the package and Web site, and the opportunity to review what they're planning (so they don't do something irritating like slap an angry bird down in the middle of a puzzle :-)
