Morgana - new game from Fire Maple Games!

Hey all!

Just wanted to post a quick teaser screenshot of the logo for the latest game I've been working on:

It's another adventure game, using the same "engine" that Grisly Manor uses.

This game is set in the deep forest, with a magical theme. You will control the four seasons to
solve puzzles and progress though the story.

This game will be about twice as long as Grisly Manor, and I am doing everything to make it my best game yet!

I will share more screenshots and details as the release date looms closer!

    Controlling the 4 seasons? Sounds really interesting from the gamer's perspective and really daunting from the dev perspective! Good luck (though you don't need it)

    Looks great FMG I had a similar idea for a game weeks ago I started jotting down artwork and story lines for it them main character was going to be able to use the four seasons. Good luck with your project. I set mine aside for something else right now.

    I'm scratching my head as to how you misinterpreted what I said....

    It was a joke... I was referring to the fact that Joe's games look so good, the rest of ours look crappy in comparison ;-)

    Apple only lets you reserve a name for four months now. After that, you lose the name forever.

    I think Joe is referring to name reservation. Now you can only reserve a name for 120 days, after this, the name goes and cannot be used again!

    Looks great Joe, funny you should mention controlling the four seasons I know someone else who has a game with that concept (not me), and we was only talking about it the other day.

    Btw congrats for getting in the hot new games section, you deserve all the success.

    Thanks! Yeah, the four seasons mechanic allows for some great puzzles. I've had an idea for a long time that I wanted to try. And it's by no means an original concept, The legend of Zelda:Oracle of seasons and Banjo Kazooie both used it to great effect.

    Hey Joe, I was wondering - has Morgana any connection (like hero, story etc.) to The Secret of Grisly Manor?
    If no, are you planning to make a second episode to Grisly, or this is a standalone game?

    This is an original, stand-alone game.

    It will be much longer than Grisly Manor.

    Grisly Manor was basically my proof of concept to see if I could make an adventure game with GS.

    Hopefully, after this, I will make a sequel. We'll have to see how everything pans out!
