Thanks to all for this great GS community, which was very helpful in developing the game.

P.S. A new iPad game is on the way...

    You need to add the shadow of the ball.
    And I think you need to add particles and more sounds, the game seems a bit boring

    Good luck :)

    Thanks for your comments Jugger. I wanted to keep it as realistic as possible. Sounds are like the original pinball and particles would make the game somehow unrealistic. Adding the shadow to the ball is not so easy when trying to make pseudo-3D in GS (which is a 2D platform).

    @Jose...

    To do shadow...just create a separate actor of the shadow and then constrain it to the ball on a layer just below the ball. You may need to adjust the constrain then slightly depending on the balls location on the screen.

    For example...the farther left the ball is...adjust the shadow X position to the positive by a pixel for every 40 or so pixels of screen X. Then reverse it when the ball crosses screen center.

    Then do the same for the Y axis.

    I agree with you...don't go away from the authenticity of the original...as that was the intent of the Graphics - game...was to simulate the original!

    Cool stuff...just don't have an iPad to try it out. Will be on my list of games to get when I do pony up for the iPad.

    Saw your app store comment about typo's...
    Below is a corrected description for you to use if you wish.

    Bronco Pinball for iPad is a classic pinball game based on Gottlieb’s 1977 Western themed pinball game. Bronco Pinball combines beautifully rendered 3D graphics, realistic physics and amazing gameplay in an experience that is simply irresistible! Bronco Pinball is fun for novices and pinball wizards alike.

    Bronco Pinball will bring back fond memories every time you play and make new memories for your family and friends.

    According to that review...Sounds like you need to keep working on the flippers and perhaps build in a "trapped ball" fix.

    Keep polishing...I think it will be worth it!!!

    Portyman: using several small square actors aligned in a curve.
