Suddenly i have no valid provisioning profile???

I was building the GS viewer for my ipod cause for some reason the ipod and GS stopped talking to each other. When building i would get this error: "A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found" I thought maybe i needed to update the ipod to 4.1, so when i did that i now get an "No provisioned iPhone OS device is connected" I went through all the steps listed on the wiki, but i must have missed one???
