hey guys this might sound stupid for some of you but i opened this topic for grammar help..
if you dont mind , ill ask you from time to time to help me phrase sentences, i do it because english is not my native, and i want to make the text graphic with no mistakes.. i hope you understand.
i will not open new topic every time , i use this one and you may too!
thank you for your understanding..
so for my first sentence:
i have actors that go toward a target ( one at a time) , and i want the player to perform the action that is written on the actors, when they hit the target .
i need an instructional sentence for this..with few words,
what do you suggest?

There are fireball that goes toward a target

Ok it needs to be something like:
"Perform the action when the fireball hit the target"
Thank!
yes! exactly..
tap
Double tap
twist
spin
Shake
Pass
i have the "actions" words already
i know english, after all we are talking ,
what i need is the explanation sentences ...
something like:
"Perform the action when the fireball hit the target"
is it english correct?
This is:
"Perform the action when the fireball hits the target"
English is weird:
Singular Plural
I hit .... we hit
You hit .... you (plural) hit
It hits .... they hit
(and with helping verb...It will hit...is correct)
It (fireball) which is singular, uses what appears to be a plural verb.
Nouns are different.... hit is singular; hits is plural
(yuck...looks like it should be 'are' instead of 'is'! in this sentence, no....but in: Hits are easy to get...yes!)
I suggest you gather a txt file of your English that displays in your game...and post the text in the forum; someone will correct. Don't be afraid...we all need help some time.
good that you want your game to look the best it can!

correct them / it / they ... you got the point. thanks!
