Application Loader is Stuck

I'm using Application Loader to finish submitting my app and it's stuck at "Verifying assets with the iTunes Store...". It's been like this for 13 minutes and my app isn't big. Is this normal? I've never used Application Loader to submit my apps before.

    Application loader is absolutely painful for me. Takes about an hour to upload a 10mb app, often does the first 10 mins at less than 1kb a second, it often sticks for ages as well. I figured it was geographical for me being located in Hong Kong.

    Oh! Thanks so much. I have a very fast internet connection and I'm not used to this kind of delay. Now I don't have to freak out. Has anyone else had these problems?

    It's been 45 minutes and my app is only 3.5 mb as a .zip. Is that normal?

    did it go through eventually or did you have to do something to resolve this issue? I'm at 47 minutes right now.

    My last app was 62 megabytes and took about 5min

    Probably some sort of error.

    Should take about the same speed as uploading to gs as it depends on you ISP upload speed.
    Which can vary drastically from download speed.

    But uploading to gs should give a rough benchmark.
