    No offense but, you put it out without a signed agreement? That was not smart as he can have the app pulled and then just have someone else do it (since there is no real work to make an app like that).

    I'm sure Bark has kept all the correspondence. That's all you need as evidence. If he agreed to it, no need for contracts as long as there are emails to back it up. And why would he pull it and have someone else make it when it's already done? Seems like a weird thing to do...

    In today's world people will sue you for anything. It doesn't matter to me, I was just bringing it up because I myself am very careful about not getting into legal trouble :)

    One question regarding HandyLight+. Did you create it after the news about HandyLight came out and submitted it, or were you already working on it before and rename it when it was released?

    That's actually the reason it looked so different from the original is. I was already working on an app with slider controls and a color-changing BG. I saw all of the hype about the "real" app and decided to post what I had as a flashlight app with the same/similar name.

    Since the discussion is still open, the technical answer is "no"... I have do permission to use the images though, I just don't have Antone blessing on the overall app. <-- Which I figure I don't need if they want to be difficult...cuz the audio is already all over youtube and was just a news report to begin with...he doesn't own that.

    This is awesome, such a good idea. I'm no lawyer, but I would imagine that if you are making money by using his name, image, etc. then he could pull the plug on this app. You could liken this to the domain dispute arbitrations against cybersquatters by trademark and copyright holders. I realize that Antoine probably doesn't hold any trademarks or copyrights, but I would consult with a lawyer, just in case.

    That all said, I really do hope this one launches you into the big time!!!! Well done!
