I have a suggestion for you. While watching the video...it seems that its pace is a little slow. The visuals are good and the gameplay is a proven system...but it seems as though its in slow motion. But perhaps that is good for some...but... My suggestion is to have a UI button in the corner that has a graphic of a tortoise. Then when you tap it...the graphic changes to a hare. This then causes everything in game to double in pace and speed. This would allow the user to play it both ways and use it as a toggle switch...which could make the game more "reachable" to the player.
One other suggestion or 2 you might consider is to have stuff happening on the bushes and maybe a few more things along the path. One thing about PacMan was that the pellets along the way at the beginning gave you an immediate understanding of what to do. Then as you collected them, it helped you understand where you've been. In a large maze like this...it might be helpful to have arrows or other interesting milestones along the way that help you navigate it.
Two more things... Games like this need a couple of things to make the kids REALLY love them... And that is collectibles and secrets. The more stuff to collect the better...and the more unlocking of secrets the better. The bigger the collectibles and the more amazing the secrets...the richer the experience.

+1 for this. Also, I haven't actually used the controls, but If possible at least have an option of an analog stick, because its alot more natural and I don't have to look at the screen as much.
If sonic would've had an analog stick instead of a d-pad it would've been so much better. (Also I haven't gone into the settings to see if it does or anything, but I didn't like the D-Pad control in sonic.
Thanks y'all, I really appreciate the feedback and support.
I made all the graphics and animation for each.
Although level one is barely being worked on, I am enjoying how all the pieces are coming together.
I'm planning on several 'secrets' to be found around so you can complete the maze; however, I am running into the problem of having too many actors in one scene and current frame rate on first gen device is around 24fps...I have a lot of optimization to do, that's why I'm asking for feedback so I can properly layout the foundation for the rest of the game.

I look forward to seeing it :-)
