How to create a link from a "lite version"?

Hi all,

I'll certainly create a "lite" version to boost my game and I'd like to create a button link to: http://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/bugs-trap/id386081183?mt=8

How can we do that using the basic GS software?

yep!

But you can advertise the full version. If they want it...they will look it up. The href is more of a convenience...albeit a good one...but not worth $2K IMO.

Adding a hyperlink requires 3 steps.

Step 1) You purchase the Pro version of Gamesalad ($2000 per year).
Step 2) Use the add hyperlink behavior
Step 3) Enter an html hyperlink into the expression box.

The first step is the most difficult for most.

To do it in GS express...
Step 1) You type a hyperlink into a png file.
Step 2) Place the image in the game.
Step 3) Hope somebody reads it and takes the time to find it on the app store or on your website.

Or learn lua or javascript and use another publishing platform. Most other platforms include hyperlinks in basic versions. Pro versions typically provide the source code and other major features (like networking). GS is a little out of the norm with both their pricing structure and features separation.

I wanna try TORQUE, soon.
It looks really great, too.
It's more powerful, but a little bit more hard to learn.

Corona is cheaper...but has no GUI and uses LUA (shorthand javascript).
