So I was wondering if anyone knows how to a clone of Plants Vs. Zombies. I watched @tshirtbooth boogle walk through, and was wondering if somebody could do about the same thing. So is there anybody that would make a couple walk through tutorials on how to make a clone of Plants Vs. Zombies! I'm sure many people would want the same.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi everyone, I have a question &mdash; I&rsquo;m totally out of date.</p><p>There are two things I don&rsquo;t know (or can&rsquo;t remember) if they&rsquo;re possible:</p><p><br /></p><ol><li>If I define a leaderboard in the Apple game configuration, I remember it&rsquo;s possible to update that leaderboard, but I can&rsquo;t recall if it&rsquo;s possible to download or read the current leaderboard data from the platform. Is that possible?</li><li>Is there any way to save game progress to iCloud?  I already save progress and settings locally, but is it possible to save and load that information from iCloud?         <description><![CDATA[<p>It's Humble Bundle time again, and I've been itching to play Day of the Tentacle Remastered for a while, so I just snapped the latest bundle up. There are several games in the bundle that I have no desire to play, though, so I thought I'd give them away on the forums for free!</p>

<p>To enter, write a comment with your <strong>best GameSalad tip</strong>. It can be a bit of logic you think is useful, or a way of better managing your workflow, or promoting your game - anything related to making games with GameSalad!</p>

i asked a similar question a while ago and got some good advice but am still wondering about something....i have an actor in my scene...i originally placed the actor with simply draging and dropping....then i use a move behavior to move it to a specific place...but then if i change scenes and go back to this scene, my actor is back in its original position.   why is that?

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, as has become customary, once a year I wonder whether to resume and close the projects I started on Gamesalad years ago.</p><p>I developed on the Mac version (I never got used to the web version, partly because my game wasn&#39;t &quot;converted&quot; to HTML5 without giving me hundreds of errors).</p><p>I using the GameSalad-Creator-1.25.103 version, , the usual one, and when I open it, it tells me I have to choose a paid plan to continue. Is that correct?</p><p>I thought I remembered the editor was free and you needed the license to export... I don&#39;t know if the project even opens... but anyway, if that&#39;s the case, I guess I&#39;ll pay for at least a month to see if the project opens... it&#39;s kind of funny. I spent years paying the annual subscription, which renewed automatically, despite not using it, haha.</p><p>Is it expected that the project will work and can be published in the Apple and Google stores? Or am I going to get stuck somewhere because things changed and this compatibility was lost?</p><p>Can anyone confirm?</p><p>Thanks!</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>So I got this sadface man bad guy rolling back and forth and colliding with stuff quite successfully. The player is meant to bop around and jump off the sadface guy to get to the first platform. But if too much goes on he gets stuck. In this pic he is stuck between the wall and the brick, but sometimes he just gets stuck on the wall or just the brick and doesn&#39;t reboot. </p><p>I tried to get him to reboot with some exception code where if linearvelocityx goes to 0 a simple variable change gets triggered to get him rolling again. But even that doesn&#39;t get him going again I am not sure how to QA this better. Anyone who wants to help is invited, thanks.</p><div>

<p>It seems that Apple no longer supports Bitcode for iOS apps, and I suspect the Smaato SDK included with IronSource might still include Bitcode. Unfortunately, the ability to enable or disable specific ad networks is only available for Android builds in GameSalad.</p><p>When I submit a build without IronSource, the error goes away. However, since my app also crashes when AdMob is added to the build, I&#39;m unsure if the issue lies with IronSource/Smaato, something in my game, or the way my build is being generated.</p><p>Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<h2><strong>Universalising Games with GameSalad</strong></h2><h3><strong>Templates for (almost) every occasion!</strong></h3><p><br /></p><p>&quot;How do I make my game look right on other devices?&quot; is a common question on these forums. GameSalad offers limited help with this - you can letterbox your game and get rejected by Apple, you can ocerscan (crop) it and lose some of the visible game, or you can stretch it and everything looks distorted and ugly. </p><p><br /></p><p>What GameSalad intend, though, is for you to only use these options as a starting point. If you crop your game, you&#39;re expected to move your interface and game elements around to compensate for the lost space. If you stretch it, you&#39;re expected to adjust the camera to compensate. Unfortunately GameSalad don&#39;t give much help doing this, so I&#39;ve thrown together a series of templates and videos that walk you through what&#39;s happening, what you need to consider, and how you can adapt your game to work beautifully on any device.</p><p><br /></p><p>We call this process &quot;Universalising&quot; - making your game work &quot;universally.&quot; The aim of these templates is to allow you to <em>copy and paste the necessary code from them templates into your own project</em>.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong><em>A pack of all the templates is attached and linked at the end if you just want to grab everything.</em></strong></p><p><br /></p><h2> <strong>Overview</strong></h2><p><br /></p><p>I recommend starting with this overview video. If that&#39;s the case, and you want to adapt it to work with phones too (with it perfectly fitting the iPads being most important) then you&#39;ll want to grab one of these templates.</p><p><br /></p><p>When using <strong>overscan</strong>, the iPad starting point actually gives you two options, which I discuss in the overview video. You can either crop it <strong>hard</strong> for iPhone, cutting off damn near half the scene, or you can do some cropping and some <strong>stretching</strong>. This template crops all iPhones to the same height, and then stretches the scene to add extra space on the iPhone X aspect ratio phones, rather than cropping even more off for those devices.         <description><![CDATA[<p>I am making a simple platform jumper. I am trying to make platforms that spawn randomly within bounds. I am getting very strange activity from the global variables tho. See the screenshots to check my code structure. I don&#39;t get why GS is resetting the variable to 0 after 5 copies are spawned. It will install and open but when I try to login the client it says &quot;Internal Server Error.&quot; I would like to transfer my old .proj files to Mac so I don&#39;t have to start from scratch but see no documentation on how to to this.</p><p>Also your site advertises for $25/mo for pro, but it is $29 at checkout.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, once again... I&rsquo;m back :)</p><p>About once a year or so, I come back to see if I can finish a project I left hanging in GS quite some time ago. Every time I come back to it, I don&#39;t remember anything at all&hellip; I dust off the old Mac, renew the expired certificates and profiles, and usually lose a couple of hours until I manage to build something.</p><p>I&rsquo;m encountering this error, and honestly, I&rsquo;m not sure if it&rsquo;s &quot;on my side&quot; or if it&rsquo;s something on the GS servers when generating the build.</p><p>After generating the build (I&rsquo;m not sure if there&rsquo;s currently any difference between the standard version and the &quot;RC&quot;), when I press the &quot;Sign App&quot; button, it downloads and then throws this error:</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Could not Find Bundle Name in plist</strong></p><p>Make sure you are still logged in to the GameSalad webpublishing web site, try regenerating the app and resigning.</p><p><br /></p><p>Could you point me in the right direction to solve this? Apologies if it&rsquo;s something rather obvious... I must admit I&rsquo;m a bit rusty.</p><p>Just in case, I&#39;ll add that my GS subscription had expired for a few months...
